Chequing Account Services
At the Cumberland Credit Union we offer five different types of Chequing Account Services. Listed below is a brief description of each. For greater detail contact the branch staff anytime. Access to account balances and transfers between accounts are available online through our MEMBER DIRECT HOME BANKING SERVICE. With MEMBER DIRECT you can obtain copies of your cheques at
no additional cost. In the near future the Credit Union will be offering E-STATEMENTS.
REGULAR CHEQUING: A basic chequing account with all the standard fees. A monthly $3.00 fee is charged for printed statements.
MINI-PACKAGE CHEQUING: ( ages 19 to 54 ) - All the services of a regular chequing account plus 30 transactions per month that include cheque writing, bill payments, and POS transactions for $7.50 per month. After 30 transactions standard fees apply.
UNLIMITED PACKAGE CHEQUING: ( ages 19 to 54 ) - All the services of a mini-package account with an UNLIMITED number of transactions for $15.00 per month.
GOLDEN ACCOUNT: ( ages 55 plus ) - Free chequing account services including cheque writing, bill payments, and POS transactions.
BUSINESS CHEQUING: $4.00 per month statement fee plus all the standard chequing account fees. Individual Business Package Accounts can be arranged-contact the branch for details.
Member Organizations and Registered Charitable Groups will enjoy free chequing account services as well. In addition, when Cumberland Credit Union members use an ATM displaying the EXCHANGE NETWORK LOGO, they will not be charged any additional surcharges. The network continues to grow every month and currently there are over 560 ATMs on the EXCHANGE NETWORK.
