The Credit Union Deposit Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, a government corporation, protects all BC credit union depositors up to a maximum of $100,000.00.

CDCU MemberCard provides you with convenient access to both Automated Banking Machines (ABM) and the Interact Direct Deposit System. A Personal Identity Number (PIN) protects you in the event of loss or theft of your card. Transactions are completed in seconds. You can PIN your card at the branch anytime with your favorite PIN number. You can also change your PIN number anytime, just contact the Branch.

With MemberCard, you can get cash 24 hours a day at Interac, Exchange, Cue Strata, CU Automated Teller or Plus ABM machines anywhere across Canada, the US and internationally. Should you use a Non-Credit Union ATM, that service provider will be charging you a fee for using their machine.

You can use your MemberCard to make purchases at any retail location displaying Interact Direct Payment service. Payment will be automatically debited from your chequing or savings account and be detailed on your monthly statement.

A Credit Union MasterCard is also available. Ask for an application at any Credit Union branch that displays the Master Card sign. You can check your Master Card balance anytime on line ( see our home page ).

Your CDCU monthly statement shows your complete financial position at a glance. Whether you have a chequing or savings account, Plan 24, Special Savers, term deposits, RRSP's, loans or mortgages, all transactions from the past month are itemized clearly on one accurate, easy-to-understand statement.

The Credit Union now offers Cheque Imaging for your convenience. Your Cheques can also be displayed ( both front and back ) on line through Member Direct......follow the links on our home page.

You can make deposits anytime at the depository located at the CDCU branch. Just place your cash or cheque deposits in a sealed envelope and drop them in the night depository chute. The funds will be credited to your account the next business day. Deposit bags are available for businesses at the Branch, with a small refundable key deposit required. You may also deposit directly through the ATM located on Dunsmuir Ave. located next to the Credit Union.

CDCU provides safety deposit boxes for your valuables. The boxes are available in a variety of sizes and offered at competitive rates.

CDCU offers American Express travellers' cheques in Canadian and American funds. If lost or stolen, these cheques are refunded or replaced immediately. Travellers' cheques for two are available. There is a small fee for this service.
