By joining the Cumberland & District Credit Union (CDCU), you have become one of its owners. For an initial refundable (with interest) membership of $25.00, CDCU provides exceptional services and convenience.

The Credit Union Deposit Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, a government corporation, protects all BC credit union depositors up to a maximum of $100,000.00.

Since its inception on February 11, 1951, Cumberland & District Credit Union has grown into a successful local financial institution offering a full range of products and services.

CDCU is operated under the guidance of experienced management staff and an elected board of directors. Proceeds from CDCU's operations are returned to our members in the form of dividends and improved services.

CDCU's strong commitment to its membership is reflected in our organizational structure. All CDCU members, with the exception of junior members, have the opportunity to play an active role in the credit union. You can elect board members, participate in the annual general meeting or run for a position on the board. CDCU welcomes your interest and enthusiasm.
